R.E.D. 2 Movie Review

“R.E.D.” is a very respectable film adaptation of a cruel comic book about the fearless and invincible CIA agent, who had been living many years quietly in retirement, until his former colleagues started hunting him. A powerful and spectacular action combined with really funny humor, successful characters (meaning Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren) – well, all of this implies the promised sequel. 12 Years a Slave Wins TIFF 2013

Last weekend, the TIFF-2013 International Film Festival ended in Toronto. One of its main features is the fact that the festival had no official jury, and the audience selected the winner: this year’s best film is the picture directed by Steve McQueen “12 Years a Slave”, in which the main roles are performed by Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sarah Paulson and other stars.
