Facebook has once again surprised its users. However, it has nothing to do with updates this time. The largest social network in the world has made its own list of the most discussed TV novelties of this season, judging by the interests of its users.
The ranking was made with the help of the new program that measures user activity and was presented by the network last month. The service keeps track of correspondence, comments, statuses, and “likes” left by the users on the public pages of Facebook, including the official profiles of celebrities and brands.
The series based on the Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD comic book happened to be the most talked about new TV series. In a matter of 48 hours after the premiere of the first episode, the show gathered more than a million responses on Facebook (including comments, posts and “likes”). 717,690 users took part in discussing the premiere of the show.
Here is the top ten list of the most talked about new TV shows of the season.
1. Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD
This American television series is based on the eponymous comic book by the Marvel company. The project, created by Joss Whedon, tells the story of a fictional organization that fights crime and collaborates with superheroes.
2. Sleepy Hollow
The mystical adventure television series is based on the short story “The Legend of the Sleepy Hollow” by Washington Irving.
3. The Crazy Ones
The comedy series tells about the relationship between father and daughter, who work in the advertising industry. The project was created by David E. Kelley, and the main male role in it was played by Robin Williams.
4. The Blacklist
The plot of this crime series is centered on an FBI agent. The cast includes James Spader and Megan Boone.
5. Michael J. Fox Show
This is another comedy series. The NBC channel has found the project with Michael J. Fox in the lead role so promising that it ordered 22 episodes of the new show at once.
6. The Goldbergs
The main characters of the series are the Goldberg family, living in America in the 1980-s. The show was launched on the ABC channel at the end of last month.
7. Brooklyn Nine-Nine
