The modern TV viewer loves and cares about the characters of his or her favorite series no less than a cinema goer. Naturally, the TV stars’ fees have recently started competing with motion picture revenues. Even popular Hollywood stars have been increasingly involved in sitcoms and “soap operas”.
We want to share a peculiar ranking, in which the TV stars have been arranged according to their income received for the roles in series. In fact, the fee for a single episode may be generally lower, but the number of shooting days or episodes can be greater, so experts considered the entire amount earned for a TV project.
Ashton Kutcher topped the rating (16.8 million dollars), for the Two and a Half Men TV series, and the second place went to his colleague on the project – Jon Cryer ($ 14.4 million)
The top 5 highest paid actors also includes Mark Harmon (12 million), Mariska Hargitay (11.5 million) and the stars of the Grey’s Anatomy TV series Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh (8.4 million).
The ranking also includes the actors of The Big Bang Theory, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and John Galecki (7.2 million each); Neil Patrick Harris who received over five million for his role as Barney Stinson, and Michael C. Hall for Dexter (3.54 million).
