Most Powerful Movie Characters

The Time magazine, which regularly supplies us with the lists of “the most highly paid,” “the most influential” and “the richest” people in the world of politics, fashion, cinema and show business, has given the names of the most influential fictional characters.

Lara Croft has the highest rating among the superheroes, who have never existed in reality (wasn’t it due to the fact that the leading role was performed by Angelina Jolie, “the highest paid actress in Hollywood” according to the Forbes magazine?). Her major runners-up include Harry Potter, who will remain in our hearts with the face of Daniel Radcliffe, Jack Sparrow (thanks to Johnny Depp), Santa Claus and others.

The new list published in the Time contains Katniss Everdeen, the heroine of the popular franchise “The Hunger Games”. We will not try to guess what made her so popular: Susan Collins’ talent as a writer or Jennifer Lawrence’s brilliant performance. Instead, we will name some more heroes. They are Indiana Jones, Robin Hood, Sherlock Holmes, Romeo and Juliet, Tarzan, Cinderella, and of course, Batman. Having learned that the man in the bat mask was also named one of the most influential fictional characters, Christian Bale could not but agree to play him in the upcoming Zack Snyder’s blockbuster. Moreover, the actor was offered a fee of $50 million for the role, as reported by the Hollywood insiders.
